New Year’s Eve celebrations
With the kids still riding the wave of excitement – and sugar – from Christmas, there is still one more major celebration to round out 2019. And that, of course, is New Year’s Eve!
The biggest family orientated NYE event in the vicinity of Gregory Hills is Campbelltown City Council’s New Year’s Eve Party at Koshigaya Park in Campbelltown’s CBD. The event offers a huge night of entertainment and fun with yummy food stalls, carnival rides (including dodgem cars, chair lift ride, haunted house and a jumping castle), as well as merchandise stalls and five hours of live stage entertainment from local performers to high-profile bands.
This drug and alcohol-free event kicks off at 7pm and, of course, will climax with two spectacular fireworks displays (at 9pm and midnight) to ring in 2020 in style. More information can be found on the Campbelltown City Council website.
Keep NYE homely
Sometimes simple, cosy and comfortable is all you and your loved ones desire. If avoiding the crowds and enjoying a laid-back night at home with close friends and family is more your speed, then you can always ring in the new year at home.
Or, if you want a bit of both, we invite you to wander down to one of the many parks in Gregory Hills and take advantage of the BBQ facilities on offer this New Year’s Eve.
